Rancho Querete

With an exuberant nature, nuanced by the fresh waters of the Malaffo River, just three kilometers east of the town of Yaguajay, in the northern center of the province of Sancti Spíritus is located this natural paradise  with a dense vegetation and rivers of crystal clear water.

I am glad you like my city 🙂 .... my city is not so big ....just a bridge, a churche and a park...that is the downtown ...but there are some beautiful places here for visit. The beach is little far . 80km away ..but just 40 or 50 minutes in a motorbike or a car. There are some beautiful places in the road toward the beach, ...that tower, ..a very pretty valley...Another ancient city called trinidad ...and a mountains system called  ¨Alturas de Banao¨and ¨Topes de Collantes¨.  I will upload more pictures here about it 🙂

Very beautiful waterfall, like from a fairy-tale! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Viñales:

Located in the province of Pinar del Río, the Viñales Valley is one of the most visited natural areas of Cuba and the most impressive in my personal opinion.

In 1999 it was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO

The Valley of Viñales is formed by rounded mountains called mogotes, with common characteristic, in addition to the form, they have the height, hovering around 25 meters. In addition to mogotes, in the Valley of Viñales there are numerous caves and caverns; these were formed by the continuous passage of underground rivers.

The biggest attraction of the Viñales Valley are the mogotes, surrounded by an intense green color, unique to the Caribbean, and palm trees that rise up to the sky. But besides the mountains, there are the caves; the largest of them is the Great Cave of Santo Tomás. With its more than 40 kilometers of extension, it is the largest and most important cave system in Cuba; declared a National Monument. Another of the most interesting is the Indian´s Cave , through which two underground rivers run, so the visit is made in boats that navigate through them.

Another point of interest is the Mural of Prehistory. It is a huge painting 120 meters long by 80 wide, made directly on the rock.

This impressive work was painted by a Cuban muralist, made entirely by brush, it took him more than five years to finish it.

@Olga  I apologize if I said something wrong...it wasn´t my intention be impolite ... I suggest search in google ..because my connection is not good and I couldn´t upload more pictures here. Pictures what I uploaded here are  from real stories. Some pictures are from internet and other I took with my camera. I visited all these places and want to share them with you and everybody here 🙂

@felix, Don't use bold font for the entire message. It is used to highlight a thought

Your pictures are beautiful and stories are very interesting! Please, tell more about waterfall! But don't use the internet information, please. You are a resident of the country, your review is much more valuable to me! 🙂 🙂 🙂 What season is better for visiting this place? Is it far from cities? Is it free for visiting? Are there any dangerous animals or insects? Are there a lot of people?

So, if I go there once, I'd like to have "a real picture" into my mind. I think, everybody will agree with me 😉
